Meatball Recipe


What you'll need:
  • 2 lbs. ground beef or turkey
  • 1/3 large onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano 
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp crush red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
Steps: 
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees
  2. On medium heat, put olive oil in a skillet until hot. 
  3. Add onion, garlic, thyme, oregano, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper flakes until onions are lightly browned 
  4. Add worcestershire sauce and chicken broth. Mix and cook until most of the liquid is evaporated. 
  5. Remove from heat, and let it cool until it is room temperature.
  6. In a bowl, mix together the meat, eggs, breadcrumbs and cooled onion mixture. 
  7. Make desired size meatballs from the mixture, and place on a greased baking sheet. 
  8. Bake for 35-45 minutes.
  9. Add to favorite pasta or sandwich.
