Strawberry Pretzel Salad

What you'll need:
  • 3 Cups Crushed Pretzels
  • 1/2 Cup Softened Butter
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar + 3 TBSP
  • 1 Cup Crushed Pecans
  • 12 oz Cool Whip (1 1/2 tubs)
  • 1 (8oz) Package of Cream Cheese
  • 1 Large Package of Strawberry Jello
  • 2 Cups Hot Water
  • 2 (10oz) Bags of Frozen Strawberries
Steps:
  1. For the bottom layer, mix pretzels, pecans, butter and 3 TBSP of sugar together. Press onto a lightly greased 9x13 pan (I actually used two smaller ones), and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cool whip. sugar and cream cheese and spread over the cooled bottom layer.
  3. In another large bowl, mix the jello and hot water together. Add the strawberries and let the jello slightly thicken.
  4. Spoon jello over the cool whip layer, and place in the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Enjoy :)
